OQO’s OLED Notebook Is Tiny But Powerful

Looking at this hand-sized OLED notebook from OQO, it’s hard to believe that it boasts almost the same specs as my four year-old Asus laptop, and it only weighs one pound. The OQO model 2+ uses Intel’s 1.86 GHz Atom processor and packs 2 GB of RAM, 60 to 120 GB of HDD storage and 3.5 hours of battery life. Plus, it supports worldwide 3G with a Qualcomm chip and includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. The integrated active matrix OLED (or, organic light-emitting diode) display measures 5 inches. And at $1,000 to $1,500, it costs less than my laptop, too. Did they invent a shrink gun or something?
